All Of Us Are Guilty

Of Jesus’ Death On The Cross
Around the Cross We See . . . .
All of us are guilty of the death of Jesus on the cross
“If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame”
(Hebrews 6:6 KJV).

“[F]or it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure” (Phil 2:13).
We know God cares for us, and will answer our prayers. These are promises. We know that He carries out His plans, and is actively involved in our lives. He is not the Deist’s God who created everything, set laws in place, and stood back at a distance to see how everything works out. Jesus said, “My Father is working until now, and I Myself am working” (John 5:17).

Esteem (3)

Ponder: How can I feel good about myself again?
Scripture: “. . . and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him” (Colossians 3:10, NKJV).
Though we are made in God’s image, our self esteem is diminished by our sin. Being against God’s nature, sin mars the divine image we bear.
