Recapturing Our Innocence As Children

“Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven ” (Matthew 18:3).

We all would like to capture our innocence as children back. A time when life was pure and simple. What a sad day when Adam and Eve lost their innocence in the garden. As parents, we try to protect our children’s innocence as long, and as much as we can.

“Into Thy Hands”

“And Jesus, crying with a loud voice, said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit” (Luke 23:46).

He was willing to offer his daughters to the wicked men of Sodom to protect his guests, which was prevented by the angels. The Lord delivered righteous Lot, and his wife and daughters, from certain death when He destroyed the cities, As they were leaving, however, Lot’s wife, contrary to the angels’ command looked back and was turned into a pillar of salt. Lot later got drunk and committed incest with his daughters.
